Charge Come up Short in Second Showcase Game

Cleveland Charge News Release
LAS VEGAS, NV - The Cleveland Charge of the NBA G League, presented by Cleveland Clinic, were defeated by the Stockton Kings 108-104 in their second and last game of the 2021 NBA G League Winter Showcase. Cleveland will next return home to begin the 36-game regular season on Monday, December 27.
Justin James led Cleveland with 28 points on 10-of-18 shooting before fouling out in 32 minutes. Malik Newman netted 27 points and 10 assists with six rebounds in 38 minutes. Josh Huestis (13 points, 12 rebounds) and Norvel Pelle (12 points, 18 rebounds) both posted their first double-doubles for the Charge this season.
Stockton's Matt Coleman had an all-around effort of 24 points, seven boards, nine assists and two steals in the victory. Emanuel Terry chipped in 17 points, five rebounds and two steals for the Kings.
