
Chad Starling Agrees To Terms With Cyclones

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL, affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League and Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League, announced this afternoon they have agreed to terms with defenseman Chad Starling.
Starling served as the captain of the Cyclones last season, appearing in 70 games and collecting four goals and 15 assists for 19 points. Chad finished fifth in the ECHL and set a club record in the plus/minus category at +24.
Starling, a veteran of six professional seasons, has played in 367 games. During his pro career, he has 84 points (16-68-84) and has appeared in the postseason five times. Chad collected a goal in the 7-3 win at Toledo in game two of the North Division semifinals in the three game sweep of the Storm.
"I'm really looking forward to coming back to the Cyclones this fall," Starling said. "It was a lot of fun to be here for the return of hockey in Cincinnati and have the season we did. I'm hoping we pick up right where we left off at the end of last season."
