Fayetteville Marksmen News Release
[FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.] - The Fayetteville FireAntz of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) announced today that goaltender Chad Collins has been reassigned from the Cincinnati Cyclones of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL). He will fill the roster spot vacated by Dennis Canfield, who was recalled by the Dayton Bombers, also of the ECHL.
Collins, who was 0-1-1 while with Cincinnati, returned to Fayetteville yesterday and joined the club for tonight's game in Jacksonville. He is expected to start in goal for the club tonight.
The FireAntz return home for one weekend game this Saturday night, December 30th, as they take on the Jacksonville Barracudas. It's your last chance to catch the team at home in 2006. Great seats still remain and there are outstanding group rates available from the FireAntz office at (910) 321-0123.
