CF Montréal Issues Statement on NHL Travel Exemption
Published on June 6, 2021 under Major League Soccer (MLS)
Club de Foot Montreal News Release
The travel exemption from the federal government for NHL teams is a positive development. Allowing American clubs to play in Canada and Canadian teams returning from the United States of America to operate outside of a strict, stay-at-home quarantine are key obstacles in our efforts to bring our players and staff back home, to our city. We continue to work with MLS and other Canadian clubs to find a solution that would allow us to be back in Montreal as soon as possible.
