PEARL, MS -- Mississippi Braves LHP Hunter Cervenka has been transferred to Double-A Mississippi from Triple-A Gwinnett. In corresponding moves, LHP Francisco Rondon was released from the Braves organization.

Cervenka, 25, began the season at Double-A Tennessee where he went 1-0 with one save and a 2.08 ERA. He was then promoted to Triple-A Iowa where he appeared in 12 games, going 0-1 with an 11.08 ERA. He was signed by the Braves on July 7 out of the Atlantic League (Indy). He made three scoreless appearances at Triple-A Gwinnett. Cervenka was originally selected by the Red Sox in the 27th round of the 2008 draft. He was acquired by the Cubs along with Michael Bowden on April 21, 2012, in a deal for Marlon Byrd and cash.

Rondon, 27, was 3-2 with one save and a 6.52 ERA in 30 relief appearances for the M-Braves this season. He posted his best numbers in April (0-0, 1.50) but had a 13.50 ERA during the month of June. A native of the Dominican Republic, Rondon was signed by the Braves as a free agent on November 7, 2014. He was originally signed by the Yankees as a non-drafted free agent in 2006.

The Mississippi roster has 25 active players, 2 disabled and 1 suspended.
