
Celtics Assign Melo to Maine Red Claws

BOSTON - The Boston Celtics announced today that they have assigned center Fab Melo to their NBA Development League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws.
Melo, a 7'0" center, has appeared in five games for the Celtics this season and has totaled five points, one rebound and two blocks in 19 minutes of action. He returns to the Red Claws where he has appeared in 20 games averaging 11.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.55 blocks in 27.4 minutes per game.
