Legends Fizzle, Drop Heartbreaker to Iowa

Frisco, TX - The Texas Legends, presented by Veracruz (visit Veracruz.mx), lost the lead in the fourth quarter falling to the Iowa Energy 100-109.

The Legends took a large lead early, ending the first quarter with a 20-point advantage. The Energy found their spark in the second and were uncontainable, shooting 61% for 38 points.

The Legends had 6 players with double-digit scores, led by Justin Dentmon with 26 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists. Dwayne Jones powered the Legends with the team's only double-double of 18 points, 18 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Paul Harris was the Energy's leading scorer and one of two double-double performers adding 27 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists. Othyus Jeffers also put up 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists.
