Celebrities Lining Up With Vipers

This coming Saturday former NHLer Theo Fleury will suit up and play for the Calgary Vipers. Fleury took batting practice yesterday and also sat in the dugout for the Vipers game. The former Calgary Flame will be activated during the week and continue to take batting practice before making his debut Saturday night when the Snakes take on the Yuma Scorpions for a double-header starting at 5:05 PM (MDT).

Another Calgary sports legend also took batting practice with the team over the weekend. Football great Doug Flutie got his hacks in before Saturday's game and also went out to the field and took some ground balls.

Finally during the week NHL players Mike Commodore and Calgarian Mike Green will be at Foothills Stadium to throw out first pitches and sign autographs.

The Snakes welcome the Long Beach Armada to Foothills Stadium for a three game series Tuesday August 5th, Wednesday August 6th, and Thursday August 7th with all games starting at 7:05 PM (MDT).

Friday August 8th at 7:05 PM (MDT) it is Foam Finger Giveaway night at the ballpark as Calgary takes on the Yuma Scorpions. Saturday August 9th at 5:05 PM (MDT) the teams will play a double-header and Sunday August 10th at 1:35 PM (MDT) the four game series and home stand concludes.
