Orange County Flyers News Release
Jermy Acey capped off a special night by launching the game-winning homerun over the left field wall in the 12th inning Sunday night in Chico. The Flyers outlasted the Outlaws in an 11-10 marathon that capped a three-game sweep for Orange County.
Mike Natale pitched six innings of one run relief to win it for the Flyers. It was his second win of the series. Dane De La Rosa closed the game for his 12th save of the season and his third in as many nights.
Acey's five-hit day was just part of a 20-hit barrage against the Outlaws' staff.
The Flyers (10-8) return home for a Tuesday doubleheader at Goodwin Field.
