
Celebrate Oktoberfest with the Rangers this Friday

The Kitchener Rangers take on the Owen Sound Attack this Friday, October 6th at 7pm for Oktoberfest Night at the Aud.
The Rangers will be joined by Onkel Hans, Allan Cayenne, (President, K-W Oktoberfest), Tracy Van Kalsbeek, (Executive Director, K-W Oktoberfest) and Samantha Hild, (Oktoberfest Ambassador) for a ceremonial puck drop, with the party continuing throughout the game with Oktoberfest themed activations, games and prizes.
The Kitchener Rangers will also be participating in Oktoberfest events this season including:
Thanksgiving Day Parade: Monday, October 9th, 2023. The parade starts at 8:30 a.m. at the corner of Weber Street East and Frederick Street. Be sure to check out the Rangers float! The parade travels up Weber Street and finishes at the Bridgeport Plaza at the corner of Weber and Bridgeport around 10:00 a.m.
Stuff a Bus for the Onkel Hans Food Drive: Saturday, October 14th, 2023. Join the Kitchener Rangers, GRT and Oktoberfest to Stuff a GRT Bus to support The Food Bank of Waterloo Region! Bring cash or non-perishable food items to Zehrs Laurentian in Kitchener between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. For a full list of the most required items, please visit thefoodbank.ca.
KIDtoberfest: Runs Friday, October 6 to Sunday, October 8 at THEMUSEUM, 10 King St W, Kitchener, ON N2G 1A3. Meet and greet with Tex on the Sunday between 9-10 a.m! Perfect for families with kids aged 3-10 (or a kid at heart!), KIDtoberfest features traditional music and dancing, curriculum-based learning stations, and guided activities created in partnership with various local arts organizations.
