67's Acquire Kings Prospect Kaleb Lawrence from Attack

OTTAWA - The Ottawa 67's have acquired overage forward, and LA Kings prospect Kaleb Lawrence from the Owen Sound Attack, today. Ottawa will send an eighth-round pick in the 2024 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection the other way.

"Kaleb is an Ottawa native who will inject size, skill, and experience into our line-up," said 67's General Manager James Boyd. "We are excited to welcome Kaleb to our team, and support his continued development."

Lawrence, 20, is a local product, having played his youth hockey for the Ottawa Jr. 67's. The hulking 6'7 230 lbs forward suited up in 50 games with Owen Sound, last season, scoring 16 goals and 21 assists, for 37 points, and also appeared in three postseason games.

Selected in the seventh round, 215th overall, by the Kings in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, Lawrence has appeared in 91 career Ontario Hockey League games, tallying 45 points. The Attack selected him with their second round, 42nd overall pick in the 2019 OHL Priority Selection.
