
Cats Win 5-2 to Take First Round Series Lead

The Wildcats reeled off three third period goals, including a pair of empty netters, to take down the Drakkar 5-2 at the Henry-Leonard Centre in Baie Comeau. The Cats own a 2-1 series lead in their first round playoff matchup.
First Star Yoan Loshing (4th) and Connor Trenholm (1st) led the way, each with a goal and assist. A strong third saw Thomas Auger score the game-winner with his first of the playoffs, followed by empty net goals from Alexis Daniel (1st) and Charles Beaudoin (1st).
Jacob Steinman earned the hard-fought win with 24 saves, while the Cats fired 34 at the Drakkar's Olivier Ciarlo who was named Second Star.
