Saint John managed four first period goals en route to a 7-4 win over the Wildcats before 3,200 fans at Avenir Centre on Thursday's 'Hockey Fights Cancer' Night.
First Star Peter Reynolds led the Port City crew with a hat-trick. Wildcats' goals to Oscar Plandowski (2nd), Thomas Auger (7th), Julius Sumpf (10th) and Alex Mercier (8th). The Cats mustered 36 shots at Pat Leaver and the Sea Dogs had 29 drives at Keegan Warren and Jacob Steinman.

The Wildcats homestand winds up Saturday night against the Chicoutimi Saguenéens at 7pm. Saturday's game will feature the Annual Christmas Toy Drive for Moncton Headstart.
