Cats Select Desnoyers at #1, Make More News in Round 1

Moncton Wildcats News Release
The Moncton Wildcats went to the stage and, as many predicted, chose the top-ranked player available, Caleb Desnoyers of the Sainte-Hyacinthe Gaulois. Desnoyers is the younger brother of former Wildcats star Elliot Desnoyers and nephew of another Cats star, Simon Laliberté.
Then a few minutes later, things got very interesting. The Cats swapped 2 high picks with Sherbrooke to climb to #6 and select Shawn Carrier of Trois-Rivières.
Later that morning, the Wildcats flipped another 1st Round pick (#18 overall) and #52 to Baie-Comeau for 18 year-old forward Vincent Collard.
