
Cats manager Wayne Terwilliger to have bladder surgery

The Fort Worth Cats announced today that manager Wayne Terwilliger will take a leave of absence from the team beginning Friday, July 9, to undergo surgery to remove a tumor from his bladder. The procedure is scheduled for July 13.
Hitting coach Stan Hough will manage the team during Terwilliger's absence.
Terwilliger hopes to rejoin to the team July 16 when the Cats return home from the week-long road trip.
