
Cats Grab Needed 'W', Down Dogs in Port City

Moncton team captain Alexis Daniel had lots of jump in his game, setting up three Wildcats goals and Jacob Steinman was sharp, making 32 saves in a 4-2 win over the Saint John Sea Dogs at TD Station before 2500 fans.
The win halted the 6-game losing streak and lifted the Wildcats back to .500 hockey at 23-23-0-2.
Daniel assisted on goals from Jonas Taibel (4th), Oscar Plandowski (5th) and Max Barbashev (23rd). Yoan Loshing also hit the scoresheet with his 21st of the season.

The Wildcats continue their Maritime Division tour in Bathurst this Friday night against the Titan at 7 pm and Saturday into Charlottetown against the Islanders at 7 pm.
Home ice action returns to the Avenir Thursday, February 16th, against Charlottetown at 7 pm.
