
Cats Go 1-3 on the Road

Moncton Wildcats News Release
The Wildcats have gone 1-3 on their first road trip to Quebec of the season. Tonight the Moncton Wildcats lost 7-2 to the Rimouski Oceanic. Rimouski opened the scoring in the first with goals from Guillaume Gauthier, Alexandre Mallet and Alex Belzile. Rimouski continued the trend in the second with a goal mid way through the second from Alex Belzile. The Wildcats responded with a goal on the PP by Patrick Delisle-Houde to make the game 4-1. The third period was also rough for the Cats with three more goals by the Oceanic and a PP goal, second of the night, by Patrick Delisle-Houde.
The Wildcats were outshot by the Oceanic 37-19. Moncton was 2/8 on the PP while Rimouski was 1/7 on the PP. Attendance at the game was 2658 and three stars were:
1. RIM - 63 Alex Belzile
2. RIM - 41 Jakub Culek
3. MON - 8 Patrick Delisle-Houde
The Wildcats will play their next home game against Rimouski on Oct. 9 at 4 p.m. at the Moncton Coliseum.
