Moncton Wildcats News Release
Moncton, NB - The Wildcats beat the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles tonight 3-2 and now have two games remaining in the schedule. The Wildcats were down 1-0 heading into the second period. Allain Saulnier responded with two goals, one on the power play and one shorthanded. Cape Breton tied the game at 2 to end the second period. The third period saw a beauty top shelf goal from Alex Saulnier!
Attendance tonight was 4700, the Cats were 1/3 on the PP and the Eagles were 0/2. Three stars were:
1. MON - 19 Allain Saulnier
2. MON - 21 Alex Saulnier
3. CAP - 30 Philippe Trudeau
The Wildcats next home game is Friday March 16th vs. PEI Rocket, game starts at 7PM.
