Cats Cruise to 10-2 Victory over Lowly Muskrats
July 26, 2019 - New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL)
North Adams SteepleCats News Release
The Cats looked to exact some revenge on the Muskrats as they came out swinging early in this one. Both starting pitchers were wild in this one and there were a combined 20 free passes at the conclusion of this one. The Cats offense though made the most of their opportunities as they tallied a total of 10 runs in the ball game. The Cats featured some new bullpen arms as Flahive, Ward, and Redfield all made their debuts tonight and combined to allow only one run. The Cats cruised to an easy 10-2 win and now have a half game lead over the Swampbats as the Cats have regained the top spot in the Northern Division. They have another huge game tomorrow against the Upper Valley Nighthawks. If the Cats can pull that out they will have a legitimate shot to hold the top spot come seasons end. So come out and get Joe Wolfe rocking for your hometown Cats.
