Last Week's Recap

The Moncton Wildcats complete a 5 game road trip last week with a 3 games in 3 days tour through the province of Quebec. Friday night the Wildcats dropped a 4-2 decision to the Victoriaville Tigres. Daniel Milan and Alex MacDonald scored for the Cats while Shane Owen stopped 38 of 44 shots in the losing effort. Saturday afternoon the Cats only managed to generate 17 shots as the fell 4-0 to the QMJHL 2nd ranked team the Drummondville Voltigeurs 4-0. Shane Owen again recorded the loss stopping 31 of 35 shots. A feisty affair took place Sunday afternoon in Gatineau as the Cats ended their road trip with a 5-4 overtime victory over the Gatineau Olympiques. Wildcats jumped out to a 3-0 lead with goals from Alex MacDonald, Daniel Pettersson and Brandon Gormley. However, after 4 straight goals from Gatineau, Moncton needed a Marek Hrivik goal with 35 seconds left to send the game to overtime. Daniel Milan scored the overtime winner while Steve Gleeson stopped 22 of 26 shots to get the win.

After 3 Week Road Trip Cats Return Home

The Moncton Wildcats return home this weekend to play their only two home games during the month of November. Saturday November 20th the Cats faceoff against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. Sunday that Cats welcome the Saint John Sea Dogs back to the cage for the first time since defeating the Sea Dogs in game 6 of last years President Cup final.

Join the Moncton Wildcats and Molson Saturday at 5:30pm in the Famous Players Lounge for the Molson Tailgate party. There will be food and drinks on hand, great door prizes compliments of Molson and those in attendance will be entertained by musician Steve Leblanc. Fans must be over the age of 19 to attend and have a ticket to Saturday's game. Those interested are asked to enter the Coliseum at the Roar Store entrance.

Cordon Bleu is the game day sponsor and fans are asked to bring a non-perishable food item. Members of the Open Hands Food Bank will be on hand to collect the food items. During our first intermission 3 lucky fans will be picked to participate in the Cordon Bleu Hungry for Major Junior Hockey on-ice challenge for a chance to win a Wildcat jersey autographed by this year's team. The XL96 Chuck-A-Puck will be apart of our 2nd intermission, fans be sure to buy a game program for your chance to participate in the chuck a puck. Also during the 2nd intermission 4 lucky fans will have the chance to win a night at Molson Brewery Hospitality Suite.

Upon leaving Saturday's game be sure to get your exclusive Cordon Bleu Recipe Book. Volunteers will be handing these booklets out at all exits of the Moncton Coliseum.

Sunday, the Wildcats welcome the Saint John Sea Dogs to the Coliseum for the first time this year. This is the second installment of this year's Rivalry Cup, Saint John took the first game at Harbor Station by a score of 6-2. Cavendish farms is the game sponsor and fans can win some great prizes including and freezer full of fries.

Molson Tailgate Party

The Moncton Wildcats and Molson will be hosting a Molson Tailgate party prior to Saturday's game against Rouyn-Noranda. The tailgate party will take place in the Famous Players Lounge starting at 5:30pm and run until game time. There will be food and drinks available for fans, great door prizes compliments of Molson and fans will be entertained by musician Steve LeBlanc. Those who are planning to attend must enter through the Roar Store entrance (Gate 2), have a ticket to Saturday's game and be 19 years of age or older.

Roar Store Holiday Hours:

Just a reminder the Roar Store has started their holiday hour. The Roar Store will now be opened Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11am - 2 pm as well as Saturday's from 9am - 4 pm. The Roar Store is also opened on game days from 12pm to the end of the game for Monday through Saturday games and 10am to the end of the game on Sundays.
