
Catfish Welcome the Georgia Special Olympics

Columbus Catfish News Release
Columbus, GA â The Columbus Catfish are set to welcome athletes from the Special Olympics of Georgia in a pre-game ceremony on Saturday, June 18th at Golden Park. Prior to the start of the Catfish game, two teams of Special Olympic athletes will take part in a softball scrimmage on the field.
During the game the Special Olympics of Georgia will hold a silent auction in the concourse of the stadium. Items up for auction include an autographed team ball from the Columbus Catfish, a skybox for 20 to a future Catfish home game and autographed memorabilia from Patrick Kearney of the Atlanta Falcons and former NBA star Dominique Wilkins.
