Lake County Captains News Release
(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, the class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians and Randy Carver of Carver Financial Services, Inc. are pleased to announce that Carver Financial will host its 30th annual food drive and client appreciation event at Classic Park in Eastlake on Friday, July 20.
Food donations will be given to End 68 Hours of Hunger. The local charity has committed to raising funds and collecting food to confront the approximately 68 hours of hunger that some school children experience between the free lunch they receive on Friday afternoon and the free breakfast they receive on Monday morning.
Carver Financial has had a long tradition of philanthropy. Since the firm's founding in 1990, Carver Financial has collected over 250,000 meals. This equates to over 126,000 pounds of food!
