Carter Named Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week

The Owen Sound Attack has named overage forward Matt Carter the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week.

After a loss in Kitchener on Friday evening, the young Attack were looking for a veteran to turn to on Saturday night for leadership and Matt Carter provided just that. In a 4-2 win over the visiting Sarnia Sting, Carter had 2 goals and 2 assists.

Ottawa was next in line on Sunday and with the score 2-0, Matt Carter put the game out of reach and gave the Attack a 3-0 lead with a Kornblum's Men's Wear Powerplay goal.

Overall carter notched 3 goals, 2 assists and was a +2 in three games. Carter was also able to pull himself into the top 40 in OHL scoring and stands with 23 goals, 15 assists for 38 points and sits at 15th in OHL goals scored.
