
Carolina Thunder to host Midwest free agent camp

Charlotte, NC. James Bynum, Director of Basketball Operations for the new ABA Carolina Thunder today announced that the team will be holding a tryout camp in Indianapolis, IN on July 17, 18. According to Bynum, "There are a lot of great players in the midwest, a lot of top college programs in the Big Ten, MAC and others conferences - this is a chance to tryout for our team and still stay close to home."
The camp will be held at the Washington Park Recreation Center, 3031 E. 30th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46218. Cost of the camp will be $125 and the camp will be limited to 60 players. Former NBA players, Coach Brian Rowson and Derrick Hamilton will conduct the camp. The cost will be $150 after July 9.
Bynum added, "We will have contracts available; we hope to sign 4-5 players. The season is right around the corner and the Carolina Thunder wants to be ready."
