
Carolina League makes All-Star roster move

The Carolina League has made one roster change to the Carolina League All-Star team which will meet the California League All-Star team in the 2008 Calfifornia-Carolina League All-Star Game presented by Hard Rock Park at BB&T Coastal Field on Tuesday, June 24th at 7:30 PM.
RHP Craig Stammen of the Potomac Nationals has been replaced by teammate, RHP Josh Wilkie on the Carolina League All-Star Team. Stammen has been promoted by the Washington Nationals to Double-A Harrisburg.
Wilkie, one of the top relievers out the Nationals bullpen, has dominated Carolina League hitters this season. The Georgia-native has appeared in 25 games going 0-0 with a microscopic 1.00 ERA while holding opposing hitters to a .097 batting average.
Updated rosters which also include the numbers on the All-Stars special Batting Practice Jerseys which will be auctioned via silent auction during the game are attached to this email.
