Carolina Cobras Expand Ownership with Season on Horizon

GREENSBORO, NC - The Carolina Cobras are proud to announce it has officially expanded it ownership group by approving minority owner Paul C. Maquardt Sr. The move comes less than a month away from the launch of the National Arena League's 2023 season with the Cobras first game is scheduled on the road against the San Antonio Gunslingers on April 8th. The team will kickoff their home opener on Sunday, April 16 at the Greensboro Coliseum.

Paul C. Maquardt Sr. joins majority owner Rob Storm and becomes the fifth member of the Cobras 2023 ownership group which includes Minority Owners John Kane, Darren S. Hunter, and Theron Davis. Paul C. Maquardt Sr. becomes the second New York resident to share interest in the National Arena League's Greensboro, North Carolina franchise as he joins John Kane who was a owner of the Albany Empire before joining the Cobras ownership group.

Paul C. Maquardt Sr. also known as Paulie Walnutz is a native a of Albany, New York. His well known support of local sports teams in the region inluded the NAL's Albany Empire and the indoor lacrosse team the Albany Firewolves. Beyond indoors sports Mr. Maquardt Sr. is a motor support enthusiast of motorcycles and snow mobiles.
