San Angelo Colts News Release
On the day of the ULB's trade deadline, the San Angelo Colts traded inactive outfielder David Cardona to the Rio Grande Valley White Wings for future considerations.
Cardona played primarily in right-field for the Colts and batted .253 with three homers and 12 RBI in 39 games. He was signed by San Angelo on June 29 and was placed on the inactive list August 10 after suffering from hamstring and foot injuries.
The nine-year veteran returns to Rio Grande Valley after playing for the White Wings in 2007 and 2008. San Angelo was the third team from the ULB that Cardona had played for after being a part of the Laredo Broncos in 2009.
