The Springfield Cardinals Team Store at Hammons Field is honoring men and women who protect our country, with a special sale on Friday. All active Military, Veterans, EMS Workers, Greene County Sherriff's Department, City Police, as well as Fire and Rescue Workers are invited to enjoy 50% off at the Springfield Cardinals Team Store on Friday from 11am to 6pm. Just show proper identification and take advantage of this special opportunity. Thanks for all you do!
FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS REMINDER!
Don't forget that the Festival of Lights, highlighted with a special Fireworks Display at Hammons Field, kicks off this Saturday!
Saturday's events will begin at 5pm with the Mayor's Tree-Lighting Ceremony, just west of Hammons Field at Jordan Valley Park.
Immediately following the Tree-Lighting Ceremony, fans are encouraged to come to Hammons Field free of charge, to get pictures taken with Santa and Louie the Mascot and enjoy a fantastic Fireworks Display. Treat yourself with complimentary Coca-Cola, hot cocoa and snacks, and get some holiday shopping in at the Springfield Cardinals Team Store with some great shopping values and specials!
After the fireworks, fans can head over to Mediacom Ice Park for some free ice skating ($2.50 skate rental).
At 7pm, the Missouri State Bears play their first-ever home game at the beautiful new JQH Arena.
