JUPITER, FL - The Binghamton Mets were held to three hits in a 3-0 loss to the Springfield Cardinals, the Double-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals.

Only Pedro Zapata, Eric Campbell, and Rylan Sandoval scratched out hits for the B-Mets, who were kept off the scoreboard for the second-straight day. Campbell played 126 games with the B-Mets last season and started this year's Minor League Spring Training games with the Triple-A Mets.

Taylor Whittenton started for the Double-A Mets and allowed a run in the first inning before tossing scoreless frames in the second and third. Jeff Kaplan allowed a run in one inning of work.

The B-Mets (2-5) will play an intrasquad game tomorrow before hosting the Jacksonville Suns, the Double-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins, on Wednesday.
