Cardinals and Salvation Army Say Thanks

The Springfield Cardinals would like to thank everyone who turned out to visit Santa and Louie the Mascot this past Saturday at Hammons Field. Both Santa and Louie were available for free pictures inside the Springfield Cardinals Team Store.

The Cardinals would also like to take the opportunity to say thanks to the great fans who helped support the Salvation Army this weekend by bringing a new or gently-used toy to help give local Springfield kids a happier holiday.

"Both Louie and I had a great time this Saturday with all the wonderful Springfield children," said Santa. "Louie helped me with all the kids' lists and now I think I'm ready for this weekend! Don't forget the cookies....Ho Ho Ho!"
