
Captains to be Announced at Landers Dodge

BOSSIER CITY, LA -- The Bossier Shreveport Mudbugs of the Central Hockey League announced today that the 2006-2007 team Captains will be revealed at Landers Dodge on Wednesday, October 18th. All fans and members of the media are welcome to attend the event starting at 5:30 p.m.. There will be food and beverages available for all.
Landers Dodge has been hosting the event for several years, providing a great opportunity for the public to come out and see the announcement first hand. Each year the Mudbugs players designate one Captain and two Alternate Captains for the upcoming season. The Captain is responsible for representing the team during any discussions with the Referee along with the esteemed honor of being the team's leader on and off the ice.
The 10th anniversary of Mudbugs Hockey begins on October 20th, as the Mudbugs hit the road for the season opener against the Oklahoma City Blazers. The celebration continues with the 2007 CHL All-Star game held on January 17th at the CenturyTel Center.
