
'Caps head to Texas to take on FC Dallas

VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC (10W-9L-7D) head back on the road this weekend to battle FC Dallas (9W-7L-10D) this coming Saturday, September 7, at FC Dallas Stadium. Kickoff for Saturday's match is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. PT - TV: SPORTSNET ONE; Bell mobile devices; RADIO: TEAM 1410 and teamradio.ca.
The "ÃËCaps are coming off of a thrilling 2-2 draw at home to Chivas USA this past Sunday at BC Place. The visitors took a 2-0 lead in the first 15 minutes, but the "ÃËCaps stormed back late in the match through goals from Gershon Koffie and Tom Heinemann.
This weekend's match will be another vital contest in the continuously tight Western Conference standings, as only six points separate third place from eighth place. Vancouver are currently in sixth place, two points out of the fifth and final playoff spot.
