
Cape Cod Frenzy signs shooting guard

Orleans, MA. The ABA Cape Cod Frenzy are pleased to announce the signing of 6-5 guard Jamaal Brooks. Brooks, known by his nickname of "Fruitie," is the sixth player to be signed by the Frenzy.
As a senior at the University of New Haven, Jamaal started 21 of 23 games and finished second on the team in scoring at 13.1 points per game and show 80.6% from the foul line. He was the 29th player in school history to reach the 1000 career point plateau. In high school, Brooks attended Notre Dame Prep in Fitchburg, MA and garnered Boston Herald All-Scholastic, McDonald's All American and Street & Smith's All Metro honors.
The Frenzy plan to announce more signings in the coming days as the team's roster comes into focus. A ten day training camp begins on October 23rd and it will be held at Willy's Gym in North Eastham, MA.
