RazorSharks announce revised schedule

Rochester RazorSharks News Release


(Rochester, New York)...The Rochester RazorSharks, in conjunction with the American Basketball Association, have tweaked their 2006-2007 schedule to allow the defending champions to visit more cities and opponents for the upcoming season. With Pittsburgh leaving the ABA, the RazorSharks have adjusted their 36-game campaign and will be moved to the ABA's northeast conference.

Individual game tickets will go on sale at The Blue Cross Arena Box office on Monday, October 16 at 10:00 a.m., including Rochester's regular season home opener on Thursday, November 16 as the RazorSharks raise the 2005-2006 ABA championship at The Blue Cross Arena aganist the Buffalo Silverbacks at 7:05 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased via phone by calling (585) 232-1900 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.

The following are the changes in the RazorSharks schedule -

- The RazorSharks will now open the season on the road at the Baltimore Pearls on Sunday, November 5 at 4:00 p.m.

- The road game vs. the Brooklyn Wonders originally scheduled for Thursday, November 9 has been moved to Saturday, February 24

- The Maryland Nighthawks will visit the RazorSharks on Saturday, November 18 at 2:05 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena, replacing Pittsburgh

- The Brooklyn Wonders will visit Rochester on Monday, January 15 at 4:05 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena, replacing Pittsburgh

- The RazorSharks will travel to Richmond on Thursday, February 1 and Maryland on Friday, February 2 in a southern road swing

Season tickets for the RazorSharks second season of play in the ABA are now on sale at the RazorSharks offices, located at 39 State Street, Suite 100.
