Canucks Recall Green and Nathan Smith

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, announced they have recalled both forwards Josh Green and Nathan Smith.

This will be Green's third recall to the Canucks this season. So far, the 28-year old, has played in three games with Vancouver. This year with the Moose, the Camrose, AB native is currently tied for the Moose lead in scoring through 10 games played with five goals and seven assists for 12 points. He also has eight penalty minutes.

This will be Smith's first recall to Vancouver this season and second recall of this career. Back in 2003-04, the Strathcona, AB native played in two games with Vancouver. This year with the Moose, Smith has appeared in all 15 games, scoring four goals and three assists for seven points and a team-leading 57 penalty minutes.
