Canes in Schools and Help out Santa

Lethbridge, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes will make a visit to Agnes Davidson School (2103 - 20th Street South) Thursday November 15th at 9:00am as part of their "Positive Role Model" program.

The players with talk to more than 150 kids about making positive life choices, the importance of working hard in school, staying active as well as eating right. Thursday's session will involve team Captain Graham Hood, Michael Sofillas, Connor Sutton, Jamal Watson and Harrison Harper. The players will also get a chance to play floor hockey with the students and sign some autographs.

The Hurricanes will make a number of visits to schools in and around Lethbridge during the 2012-2013 season with their next visit scheduled for Gilbert Patterson on December 4th to talk to the students in the Hockey Program and another visit December 11th at Magrath School.

Members of the Lethbridge Hurricanes will also be making a visit to Park Place Mall Saturday, November 17th at 6:00pm when they will help Santa deliver toys to the first 200 kids. Connor Sutton, Michael Sofillas, Adam Henry, Harrison Harper are expected to help Santa deliver the toys to the kids who will also get a chance to get pictures and autographs from their favorite Canes players.
