Canaries To Hold Easter Egg Hunt On March 15

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Canaries will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt presented by ShopKo at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 15 at Sioux Falls Stadium. The Easter Egg Hunt will be the first event of the year at the Birdcage.
"In previous years, neither rain nor snow has been able to turn fans away from this popular free event," said Canaries President John Kuhn. "We are certainly hoping that this year will provide bright sun and warm temperatures when we open the gates at the Birdcage for the first time in 2008."
The Easter Egg Hunt is open to kids 10 & under. There will be two separate hunts, one for children 5 & under, and another for kids 6 to 10 years old. The plastic eggs and candy for the event were donated by ShopKo.
Cagey, the Canaries mascot, and the Easter Bunny will both be making appearances during the Canaries Easter Egg Hung. For further information, contact the Sioux Falls Canaries at (605) 333-0179.
