BOISE, Idaho - Balbino Fuenmayor lined a go-ahead three-run double with two outs in the eighth inning, helping the Vancouver Canadians to their second-straight come-from-behind win, topping the Boise Hawks, 7-4, at Memorial Stadium.

Trailing 4-2 in the eighth, Dan Klein hit a one-out double off reliever Hayden Simpson, with Derek Chung putting runners on the corners with a two-out infield single. Jorge Flores chased Simpson with a base hit to cut the lead to 4-3. Bryce Shafer was summoned from the pen and got Jason Leblebijian to ground to short, but Stephen Bruno bobbled the ball, loading the bases. Fuenmayor took a 2-0 fastball off the right field wall to clear the bases, giving the C's the lead.

Klein hit a solo homer in the ninth to cap the scoring.

Vancouver took a 2-0 lead early in the contest, as Klein lifted a second inning sacrifice fly and Carlos Ramirez doubled home a run in the third. The Hawks would tie the game in their third on a Bruno RBI single and a Bijan Rademacher sacrifice fly. Gioskar Amaya led off the fifth with a solo homer to give Boise a 3-2 lead, pushing the margin to 4-2 in the sixth on a Trey Martin run-scoring single.

Nick Purdy tossed a scoreless seventh inning to pick up the win for Vancouver, as starter Bobby Brosnahan went five innings, allowing three runs on five hits, striking out four. Ramirez went 3-for-5, with Klein, Chung, Fuenmayor, and Nick Baligod each recording two hits.

Simpson took the loss, despite allowing just one earned run in three and two-thirds innings. Starter Tayler Scott allowed just one earned run in four innings for Boise. Amaya and Dong-Yub Kim each had two hits in the loss.

Game 4 of the series is tomorrow night at 7:15 p.m., with Ian Dickson meeting Ben White.
