The Quebec Capitales run out to a 5-0 lead through two innings and cruise from there to a six-run win over the Brockton Rox. Capitales 1B Tommy Curkovic and DH Corey Stang each had three hits on the afternoon with both scoring a run. Quebec 3B Eddie Lantigua chipped in with two hits in three at-bats, including a two-run home run in top of the first inning. Michel Simard runs his record to 3-1 on the season for Quebec going six innings giving up four runs, three earned, on 10 hits with two walks and three punchouts. 1B John Welch, LF Ryan Sickles and C Lee Rubin went a combined 6-for-12 at the plate for Brockton.

New Jersey 6, Worcester 5

The New Jersey Jackals scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning via catcher's interference and a RBI single by CF Tim Turner to beat Worcester and take two of three in the series. 2B Zach Smithlin went 3-for-4 with a run scored and a RBI to lead New Jersey offensively. DH Clyde Williams, 3B Wilton Veras and SS Joe Mihalics each collected two hits apiece as well for the Jackals. Justin Garza picks the win up for New Jersey in relief going two innings allowing an earned run on a hit with two strikeouts. Garza's record runs to 2-1 on the season. Worcester RF Andrew Wishy had a big day at the plate going 2-for-3 with four runs driven in, including a homer.
