@ Lynn, MA. Time: 3:05 Attendance: 1,022

North Shore starting pitcher Chris Farley was nearly untouchable against the Grays, allowing only two hits and fanning 12 batters in North Shore's 5-3 win. Farley went six and two-thirds innings, didn't give up an earned run and only walked one batter to run his record to a perfect 4-0. North Shore's Kevin Fitzgerald came on in the ninth and shut the door on the comeback. Only three players had hits for North Shore - LF Darren Blakely, 1B Alex Trezza and 3B Mike Torres - but they had two hits each, and that was all the hitting North Shore needed for the win.

Mitsumori lasted six and two-thirds innings and didn't allow a run. He put several runners on, giving up seven hits and five walks, but got himself out of jams to keep Nashua from crossing the plate. RF Ryan Walker led the Atlantic City batting by going 4-for-4 with a double. Nashua got on the board as soon as Mitsumori left the game, posting four runs in the bottom of the eighth, but Atlantic City closer Matt Pike squashed the rally and picked up his sixth save. Nashua just couldn't bring its ducks in from the pond, with 17 runners left on base for the game.
