1B Chris Colabello went 2-for-4 with three RBI to lift Worcester past Quebec 6-1. C Onix Mercado added two hits and an RBI of his own to the Tornadoes attack. Relief pitcher Matt Meagher picked up the win after taking over in the 4th inning and allowing no runs over 2 1/3 innings. The win was Meagher's first of the season. 2B Dany Scalabrini led the Capitales at the plate with three hits in the losing cause.

New Haven County 7, New Jersey 6

New Jersey got three runs in the ninth, but it was not enough to overcome the New Haven lead, as the Cutters held on to take the victory 7-6. 1B Thomari Story-Harden went 1-for-3 with a homerun and two RBI to lead the Cutters at the plate. LF Horace Lawrence added a hit and two RBI of his own to help New Haven. Starting pitcher Brad Whitworth improved to 3-0 on the season, allowing just three runs over 7 1/3 innings. DH John Lindsey and 2B Ricardo Cordova combined for six hits and two RBI for New Jersey.

Sussex starting pitcher Lincoln Mincks pitched eight scoreless innings to lead the Skyhawks past Nashua 2-0. The win was Mincks first of the year. Relief pitcher Julio Perez allowed no runs in the ninth inning to notch his 4th save of the season. 1B Ryan Lehr went 1-for-4 and drove in a run to lead Sussex at the plate. Despite picking up the loss, Nashua starting pitcher Vincent Davis was effective. He allowed just two runs, one earned, over 6 2/3 innings while striking out five. Offensively the Pride managed nine hits, but could not get a run across.

SS Chris Rowan and 1B Jeff Brooks combined for five hits and six RBI to lead North Shore past Brockton 12-1. Starting pitcher Bryan Morse picked up the win for the Spirit, allowing just one run over seven innings, while striking out nine and walking none. The win improved Morse to 3-1 on the season. C Jason Radwan went 2-for-4 and scored the lone Brockton run in the losing effort.
