Starting pitcher Matt Bishop allowed just two runs on six hits over seven innings of work to help North Shore past Sussex 6-3. With the win, Bishop improves to 2-1 on the season. Closer Kevin Fitzgerald pitched a scoreless ninth to pick up his league leading 15th save. At the plate for the Spirit, CF B.J. Weed went 2-for-4 with two RBI and LF/CF Robert Fischer went 3-for-4. For Sussex, DH Rich Daly and 3B Mayke Cabrera combined for three hits and an RBI.

Worcester scored all four of its runs in the first two innings and held on to knock off Brockton 4-3. Starting pitcher Alex Pena allowed just two runs over six innings to pick up the win and improve to 5-1 on the season. Relief pitcher Dallas Mahan was perfect in the ninth to tally his first save of the year. 3B Brian Rios went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI to lead the Tornadoes at the plate. RF/1B Keith Brachold went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Rox.

1B Eddie Lantigua and C Olivier Lepine combined for three hits and four RBI to lift Quebec over New Haven County 9-4. Lantigua and Lepine each homered in the game, their ninth and seventh of the season respectively. Starting pitcher Brad Purcell picked up the win, allowing four runs over five innings of work. For New Haven County, DH Derrick Gibson had a huge night at the plate, going 3-for-3 with two homeruns and three RBI.

Nashua C Tommy Rojas went 1-for-3 with a grand slam to lead the Pride past New Jersey 8-5. 1B Billy Becher also homered in the game for the Pride, his ninth of the season. Starting pitcher Dan Reichert allowed just three runs over eight innings to pick up the win and improve to 7-5. Closer Derrick DePriest pitched a perfect ninth inning to record his 11th save. The Jackals, which out hit Nashua 10-8, were led by DH Joey Gomes, who went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI.
