In front of a season high crowd of 3,365 at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field, CF Marcus Nettles goes 1-for-3 with two runs scored and five stolen bases to lead the Cutters past the Tornadoes. The five stolen bases by Nettles is a new Can-Am League record for most stolen bases in a single game. Cutters' starting pitcher Justin Knoff picks up the win, his fourth of the season, by going five innings allowing only two earned runs on two hits with six strikeouts. For the Tornadoes, they were led this afternoon by SS Ricardo Cordova, who went 2-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI, including his fourth home run of the season.

SS Robert Lenoir's RBI single in the bottom of the 14th inning scores the game winning run and leads the Skyhawks to another extra inning victory over the Rox. The victory moves Sussex's record in extra inning games to 6-1 on the season. The Skyhawks were led offensively by 2B Marcos Agramonte who went 4-for-6 with a run scored and LF Darin Kinsolving who had a 3-for-5 outing. Sussex reliever Joe Gault goes three innings allowing an earned run on three hits with two strikeouts to notch his second win of the season. For the Rox, who now drop to 5-5 on the second half, 1B Francisco Lebron, 2B/3B Mike Torres, and SS Mike Scanzano each had three hit outings with Lebron hitting his third home run of the season.

Quebec starting pitcher Gabe Ribas goes seven strong innings giving up no runs on four hits with six strikeouts to help Quebec win the game over the Jackals and stay one game ahead of North Shore in first place. The win for Ribas was his fifth of the season. Quebec LF Nestor Smith went 3-for-4 with a run scored and two runs batted in while 3B Eddie Lantigua chipped in with a 2-for-4 night with two runs scored and a run driven in. The Jackals tallied seven hits on the night with leadoff hitter Jason Tuttle going 3-for-3.

HR: NP-Billy Becher (7); NS-Vic Davilla (10)

Shawn McNamara goes 5 2/3 innings allowing three runs, all earned, on six hits to help North Shore get the victory and keep them only one game behind Quebec for first place. The Spirit would get eight hits on the night with 3B Vic Davilla going 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a run batted in, including his league leading tenth home run of the season. 2B Ryan Bethel chipped in with two hits as well. Kevin Fitzgerald pitched a scoreless ninth to notch his 13th save of the season, which is tops in the league. For the Pride, RF Mark Hamilton goes 3-for-4 with a run scored.
