New Jersey starting pitcher Joel Bennett pitched a complete game, allowing just two runs on four hits to help the Jackals past Quebec 3-2. With the win Bennett remains unbeaten at 4-0 for the season. At the plate, New Jersey was led by C Jason Belcher who went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Despite taking the loss, Quebec starting pitcher Marc-Andre Major was effective, allowing only three runs on four hits over seven innings of work. CF Geoffrey Tomlinson went 2-for-4 to lead the Capitales at the plate.

Worcester 8, New Haven County 7

Worcester scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to erase a one run New Haven County lead and take the 8-7 victory. Relief pitcher David Byard pitched a scoreless top of the ninth to pick up the win for the Tornadoes, his first of the season. SS Ricardo Cordova went 3-for-5 with an RBI to lead the team at the plate. New Haven County 3B Jeremy Terni and RF Orlando Encarnacion combined for six hits, four doubles and six RBI in the losing cause.

Brockton 7, Sussex 4

Brockton starting pitcher Brad Guy allowed just two runs over seven innings of work to help the Rox past Sussex 7-4. With the win Guy's record improves to 4-2 on the season. Closer Jon Koch pitched a scoreless ninth to notch his eighth save of the season. DH Guye Senjem went 3-for-5 with two RBI to lead the Rox at the plate. Sussex 3B Elvis Corporan went 2-for-3 with a homerun and two RBI to lead the Skyhawks in the losing effort.

North Shore 5, Nashua 1

North Shore 3B Vic Davilla went 2-for-2 with a triple and a homerun and drove in three runs to lift the Spirit past Nashua 5-1. Davilla's homerun was his 9th of the season. Starting pitcher Bryan Morse allowed just one hit on six hits over 6 1/3 innings to pick up the win and improve to 7-2 for the year. Relief pitcher Dennis Robinson did not allow a run over 2 2/3 innings to pick up his first save of the season. Nashua DH Glenn Murray went 1-for-3 with a homerun that provided the Pride's lone run in the losing cause.
