New Jersey 11, Worcester 4 (Game 1 - 7 Innings)

New Jersey got off to a fast start with five runs in the first inning to capture the first game of a doubleheader 11-4 over Worcester. The heart of the Jackals batting order did the job for New Jersey as the number three through six hitters combined to go 7-for-14 with seven RBI and eight runs scored. Starter Ryan Pacyna went six innings and allowed four earned runs to get the win and even his record at 1-1. 1B Juan Tejeda and RF Craig Maddox homered for New Jersey.

New Jersey 10, Worcester 8 (Game 2 - 7 Innings)

Juan Tejeda capped a stellar night offensively as he left the yard via the long ball two more times as the Jackals completed the sweep, 10-8. Michael Vicaro earned his fourth victory of the year and Rusty Tucker closed the game out to earn his eighth save of the season. Alex Trezza hit his second homer of the doubleheader for the Tornadoes to raise his season total to five.

Sussex 5, Ottawa 2 (Game 1 - 7 Innings)

In the first of two, Kyle Ruwe pitched Sussex to a 5-2 victory over Ottawa as he went all seven innings and scattered eight hits. Trailing 2-1 in the top of the fourth inning, the Skyhawks offense put four runs on the board to grab the lead for good. 2B Chris Brown and 3B Jay Yaconetti each had two-RBI singles in the inning which saw Sussex score all their runs after two were out. With the win Ruwe improved to 6-1 on the year.

Ottawa 11, Sussex 5 (Game 2 - 7 Innings)

In the second game, SS Juan Infante and CF Jared Lemieux combined to drive in five runs as Ottawa earned a split, 11-5. Infante went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI while Lemieux was 2-for-2 with a run scored and three batted in. Sussex jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but the Rapidz would score in each of their six times at-bat to cruise to victory. Fraser Robinson worked six innings to pick up his second win of the year.

Atlantic City 5, Nashua 4

Adam Cox tied a league record as he struck out 14 batters in Atlantic City's 5-4 win over Nashua. Even with all the strikeouts Nashua managed to score twice in the second and fifth innings to hold a 4-1 lead. But 2B Brad Thoma's lead off homer in the seventh inning cut the lead to 4-2 and kick started the Surf's offense. They used a double, single, two walks and an error to score two more in the inning and tie the game 4-4. Thoma sparked his club again in the eighth inning as he tripled and scored the decisive run on CF Lucas Taylor's single to center. Derek Duclos came on for the top of the ninth inning and escaped a bases loaded jam to preserve the win.

Quebec 4, Brockton 3 (10 Innings)

HR: BRO- Francisco Lebron 2 (3)
Quebec topped Brockton 4-3 in 10 innings to regain a tie for first place in the CanAm standings. 1B Francisco LeBron homered twice in the game for Brockton including a solo shot in the 10th inning, but it wasn't enough. RF Alex Nunez had a big game offensively for the Capitales going 3-for-4 with an RBI. SS Jose Contreras also went 3-for-4 in the contest and scored a run. Mark James earned the win in relief of Kevin Beavers who allowed just one run in seven innings. It was James' first victory of the season
