Brockton 11, Quebec 2

Brockton plated six runs through the first three innings as the Rox routed the Quebec Capitales 11-2. In front of their home fans at Campanelli Stadium, the Rox totaled 11 runs on 15 hits. Rox RF Keith Brachold was a single away from the cycle and led Brockton with four RBIs. Brachold went 3-for-4 at the plate with a two-RBI double, an RBI triple and a solo home run while also scoring three runs. Rox DH Shawn Williams collected two RBIs and doubled twice, and CF Chris Valencia and 2B Mike Torres each had two hits and an RBI. Rox starting pitcher Julian Sampson earned the win, pitching seven innings and allowing one earned run on five hits while striking out seven batters. For Quebec, CF Sebastien Boucher went 3-for-4 with an RBI in the loss.

Rockland 3, Pittsfield 2

The Rockland Boulders used a three-run first inning to take a 3-2 victory against the Pittsfield Colonials. The visiting Colonials struck first in the top of the first when 1B Angel Molina, the reigning Pointstreak Batter of the Week, hit an RBI sacrifice fly that scored 2B Danny Bomback. Rockland countered in the bottom half of the frame with three runs to take a 3-1 lead. Boulders 3B Ryan Mollica hit an RBI double that tied the game, LF Norm Hutchins singled in Mollica and 2B Cole Kraft's RBI single plated Hutchins. Rockland starting pitcher Will Hassett allowed one run on six hits in 5.2 innings pitched to earn the win. Boulders closer Adrian Martin worked a perfect 1.1 innings to earn the save.

Newark 5, Worcester 4

Newark CF Danny Santiesteban's solo home run in the top of the ninth gave the Bears a 5-4 victory over the Worcester Tornadoes. It was Santiesteban's only hit of the game but it proved to be the game-winner as Bears closer Mikey Mehlich worked a scoreless bottom of the ninth to earn the save. Newark struck first in the game when 2B Tyler Benzel hit an RBI double in the top of the third. Tornadoes LF Chris Colabello batted in a run in the bottom of the fifth to tie the game 1-1. The game went back-and-forth, including Worcester plating three runs in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game 4-4. Santiesteban led off the ninth with the go-ahead home run, his 10th homer of the season. Bears reliever Kyle Morrison was credited with the win for his scoreless eighth inning pitched.
