A terrific pitching performance by Mike Moore leads the New Jersey Jackals past the New York Federals 2-0. Moore tossed eight shutout innings allowing two walks and four hits while fanning seven hitters. He is now a perfect 5-0 on the season. Jackals closer Jeff Gogal struck out one batter in the ninth and notched his 13th save. New Jersey 3B Nick Giarraputo and LF Nick Santomauro had two hits apiece to lead the offense.
