Quebec 8, New York 1

The Quebec Capitales scored three runs in the fourth inning and plated four more in the bottom of the sixth en route to an 8-1 victory against the New York Federals. Designated hitter Dan Barbero led Quebec with three RBIs and went 1-for-3 from the plate with a run scored. Capitales CF Goefrey Tomlinson went 2-for-5 at the plate with two RBIs and a run scored. Catcher Pete LaForest and 3B Michael L. Thompson also each collected an RBI for the Capitales. Quebec right-hander Matthew Rusch picked up his third straight win and improved to 3-1 on the season. Rusch tossed seven innings, striking out six batters and allowing one run on nine hits. New York's lone run was batted in by 2B Wilson Matos who went 3-for-5 at the plate on the night.

Brockton 13, Rockland 6

Brockton RF Keith Brachold belted a grand slam in the third inning as his seven RBIs helped power the Rox to a 13-6 win against the Rockland Boulders. Brachold added to his tally with a three-RBI double in the bottom of the eighth and also scored two runs in the game. Rockland jumped out to a 1-0 lead after one inning, courtesy of CF Sean M. Smith's RBI single, but the Rox scored five in the third and added one more in the fourth to take a commanding 6-1 lead. For Rockland, Smith finished with two RBIs and went 2-for-4 from the plate. Rox 2B Mike Torres went 1-for-3 from the plate with a double, two runs scored and an RBI. Rox starter Julian Sampson earned the win by pitching six innings, striking out four batters and conceding four earned runs.

Newark 6, Worcester 1

The Newark Bears exploded for five runs in the seventh inning to break a scoreless tie, as they went on to defeat the Worcester Tornadoes 6-1. Newark left-hander Alex Smith improved to 3-0 on the season as he pitched seven scoreless innings while allowing just four hits. Newark CF Tim Raines Jr. led the Bears with two RBIs which he picked up on a triple in the seventh inning. Newark CF Kyle LaMotta and 1B Daryle Ward each collected an RBI as well for the Bears. For the Tornadoes, 1B Chris Colabello belted a solo homer for Worcester's only run of the night.
