Skyhawks 1B Matt Weston went 3-for-3 with a triple and two runs scored to lead Sussex past Worcester 4-2. 3B Jay Yaconetti was 2-for-2 with a run scored and an RBI and C Yohanny Valera went 2-for-4 with two runs batted in.
Despite walking six batters, Sussex starter Matt Salvato picked up the win, allowing just one earned run on three hits in 6 1/3 innings. He improved his record to 7-3 on the season. Shaun McNamara pitched six innings for Worcester and allowed two earned runs. He fell to 2-8 with the loss. Closer Matt Petrusek authored a scoreless ninth inning for his 13th save.

Quebec blew open a 2-1 game with 10 runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to blast New Jersey 12-1. After taking a 4-1 lead on a home run by SS Jose Contreras off New Jersey starter Aaron Tressler, Quebec roughed up reliever Hunter Davis for seven earned runs on six hits. Davis retired just one batter. Orlando Trias continued to pitch well for the Capitales as he went the full nine innings and allowed just two hits and one run, which came on C Matt Lauderdale's solo homer. Quebec CF Goefrey Tomlinson and 2B Josh Colafemina each had three hits. Contreras finished 2-for-3 with three RBI and 1B Eddie Lantigua went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI.

Nashua 4, Brockton 2

Nashua scored four runs in the bottom of the third inning and starter Isaac Burkett made it stand up as the Pride downed Brockton 4-2. Trailing 1-0, Nashua used two Brockton errors and RBI doubles by 2B Ismael Castro and C Mike Torres to grab a 4-1 advantage. Burkett finished seven complete innings and allowed just two earned runs on five hits while striking out six. With the win he evened his mark at 2-2. Brett Palanski tossed two scoreless innings to earn his first save of the season. Nashua CF Vinny Pennell had a solid game finishing 3-for-5 on the night. Rox LF Dennis Abreu extended his league record hitting streak to 29 games with a 1-for-3 night at the plate.

Ottawa 14, Atlantic City 1

Ottawa piled up 16 hits and scored multiple runs in five different innings to beat Atlantic City 14-1. Already ahead 3-0 in the top of the third inning, the Rapidz got two more runs when C Kyle Geiger homered down the left field line to make it 5-0. Mike Muscato would later relieve Geiger behind the dish and hit a three run shot of his own as Ottawa poured it on with two runs in the eighth and four more in the ninth. Tanner Watson worked six scoreless innings to improve to 2-4 while Austin Redwine struggled in his first appearance with the Surf, lasting just 2 2/3 innings. Ottawa 1B, and Player of the Week, Jabe Bergeron went 4-for-6 with four runs scored in the contest.
