Camden Loses in Walk-Off Fashion

Ramon Castro hit a two-out, walk-off home run in the bottom of the 9th inning as the York Revolution finished off a three-game sweep over the Camden Riversharks with a dramatic 7-5 win. The Riversharks finished the season winless in nine tries at Sovereign Bank Stadium

With the team leading 5-4 in the bottom of the 9th, 'Sharks reliever John Bale had the first two outs of the inning before Scott Grimes and Chris Walker reached base. Ramon Castro stepped to the plate next and hit the walk-off, three-run home run.

York scored twice in the first inning against J.R. Mathes thanks to RBI hits by Chris Nowak and Bryant Nelson.

Mathes finished the evening allowing four runs (three earned) on eight hits in six innings of action.

Trailing 3-0 in the top of the 6th, Camden rallied with four runs in the inning to take the lead. The 'Sharks hit four RBI singles in the inning highlighted by back-to-back two-out, RBI singles by Toby Hall and Juan Francia to take a 4-3 lead.
